The bungalow was structurally sound but visually tired. Magnolia walls throughout, aged ceilings, and cracking and flaking across several rooms — including a failed previous repair in the entrance hall.
Seven areas: entrance hall, three bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and dining area, and kitchen. Everything taken to white, all woodwork refinished, and the porch repainted inside and out.
The work ran as one programme over five to seven working days, ahead of the property going on the rental market.
Every room was prepared before a finish coat went on. Cracks cut out and filled, flaking areas taken back, and the failed previous repair in the entrance hall scraped out and rebuilt.
Magnolia walls and aged ceilings taken to white across all seven areas, over primer where the surface needed it.
Doors, frames, architraves, skirtings and window boards taken back and refinished in white satin. Doors and frames spray-applied.
The porch completed inside and out, in the same programme as the interior.
The porch, inside and out.
Q1 floor protection board went down and the kitchen and wardrobes were wrapped before the sanding began. It stayed in place until the finish coats were on.

Walls and ceilings even and consistent room to room, with the woodwork in white satin against them.
Doors and frames were spray-applied — Dulux Quick Dry Undercoat, then Diamond Satinwood in white satin.
Skirtings were prepared along the full run of each room. Window boards were taken back and refinished in the same system, so every piece of trim in the property carries one finish.
