Residential work, planned around the property.

Before work starts, we agree the rooms, surfaces, repairs, materials, access and working sequence. This gives the project a clear scope and allows the work to be planned around the property.

01
Single rooms

Bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and feature areas finished cleanly, with minimal disruption to the rest of the property.

02
Full home redecorations

Room-by-room sequencing, surface preparation, colour changes, woodwork and a consistent finish carried across the whole property.

03
New build refinement

Settlement cracks, shrinkage gaps and failed caulking repaired before rooms are redecorated, with the finish blended across the affected areas.

04
Period and heritage homes

Older surfaces, existing detail and original character assessed before preparation begins, with breathable finishes specified where the substrate requires them.

05
Woodwork and detail work

Doors, frames, skirting, trims, handrails and finishing details handled with the correct preparation and coating system for the surface and level of use.

06
Specialist finishes

Spray application, limewash, microcement and decorative coatings specified according to the surface, use and intended appearance.

A clear sequence from scope to handover.

The work is planned around the rooms, surfaces, access, repairs and finish required, then completed in an agreed order.

01
Scope

Rooms, surfaces, access, repairs, materials and expectations are agreed before work starts.

02
Protect

Floors, furniture, routes and key areas are protected so the home stays controlled and presentable while the work is underway.

03
Prepare

Cracks, gaps, failed coatings, rough edges and surface issues are dealt with before any finish coats are applied.

04
Coat

Paints, primers and finishes are matched to the surface, the room and the level of durability needed.

05
Finish

Edges, lines, woodwork, touch points and final details are checked before the room is handed back.

Different homes need different decisions.

A new build, a period house and a full redecoration are not approached in the same way. The planning, preparation, materials and sequence all change depending on the property and what is being asked of the finish.

  • Decoration from pre-second-fix through to handover finish
  • Phased around the build or occupation programme
  • Surface finish above standard developer specification

Kitchen units masked and wrapped before preparation begins

Protection planned around the work area.

Floors, furniture, kitchen units, fittings and access routes are covered according to the work being carried out and kept protected for the required stages.

01 Access routes agreed before work starts
02 Floors, furniture and fixed surfaces covered
03 Working areas contained during preparation and painting
04 Protection removed and the area checked at handover

The finish is judged in the details.

Sharp lines, even surfaces and clean touch points are the visible result of the preparation underneath. These are the areas where the standard of the work shows.

01
Lines

Clean meeting points where walls meet ceilings, trims meet plaster and features meet surrounding surfaces.

02
Surfaces

Repairs blended into the surrounding area so the texture and sheen remain consistent after finishing.

03
Woodwork

Doors, frames and trims prepared between coats so the coating looks sharp and precise rather than thick and built-up.

04
Touch points

Handles, edges, corners and visible areas cleaned and checked before handover.
