The threshold
Hanging off, with rotten wood breaking up in the corners. The rot was cut out, the threshold pinned back and the corners rebuilt in resin, then sanded and painted with the doors.
Timber French doors and a UPVC door, both chewed and scratched by the dog. A threshold rotted through and hanging off, edges torn away, and a chip with a section missing. All of it rebuilt in resin and refinished over two working days.

Both doors were photographed before any work began. The repairs are measured against these.

A sample of the repairs, photographed from the damage as we found it through to the finish it was left with. There were others across both doors.

Faces and edges broken down, with claw marks around the rubber trim. Dug out, cleaned and rebuilt in resin, then sharpened back to a line between coats.

A chip with a section missing and scratches across the face. Rebuilt in resin and sanded level, the scratches filled, the face keyed by hand, then three coats of a finish that bonds to UPVC.
Sanded between each coat, both doors in one colour and one sheen. The threshold, the frames and the trim carry the same finish as the faces.

Send a photograph of the damage and we will tell you what can be repaired and what it would take.
