Spray Painting
& Finishing

Spray application gives us different ways to approach a decorating project depending on the surface, coating and finish required. We use high-pressure airless systems for larger areas and lower-pressure systems where greater control and finer application are needed.

From full interiors and new-build work to doors, frames, woodwork and fitted joinery, we choose the spraying method around the job rather than treating every surface in the same way.

High-pressure airless and lower-pressure spraying

The system changes with the surface. Airless equipment is suited to larger areas where material needs to be applied efficiently; lower-pressure equipment gives more control on doors, frames, joinery and detailed work.

High-pressure airless spraying in Lymm

High-pressure airless

Airless systems move paint through the spray tip at high pressure without compressed air. We use them across larger wall and ceiling areas, new-build work and commercial interiors, with tip size, pressure and coating preparation selected around the material and surface.

Typical use: walls, ceilings, larger interiors, commercial work and spray-and-back-roll application where required.

Lower-pressure spraying in Grappenhall

Lower-pressure spraying

Lower-pressure systems are used where control matters more than production speed. They suit smaller surfaces and detailed components where the coating needs to be laid down carefully and overspray controlled.

Typical use: doors, frames, woodwork, fitted joinery and detailed components.

How the work is applied

The spraying itself is only one part of the process. Surfaces still need the correct preparation, and surrounding areas have to be protected before spraying begins.

Depending on the job, we may spray a finish coat directly, use spray-and-back-roll application across walls and ceilings, or combine spraying with traditional brush and roller work elsewhere in the project.

The method is chosen around the substrate, coating, occupied environment and finish required.

Walls, woodwork and larger projects

Spray application can be used across residential, commercial and development work. The equipment and setup change according to the scale of the area and the level of control required.

The application is decided by the job

Some projects are entirely sprayed. Others combine spraying, back-rolling, brushwork and roller application. We assess the surface, coating and working environment first, then use the method that suits the work.

Discuss a spray painting project

If you have walls, ceilings, doors, joinery or a larger decorating project where spray application may be suitable, send us the project details and photographs. We can advise which application method is appropriate for the work.
